Regarding Recent Incident at the Boston Marathon

A Statement from the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism, and Massachusetts Port Authority, in coordination with Mayor Thomas M. Menino and the City of Boston:

Boston suffered a senseless tragedy during the Boston Marathon on Monday. Emergency services and city, state, and federal law enforcement responded quickly and effectively to ensure the safety of visitors and residents. An investigation is underway.

The City of Boston and the rest of our state remain open for travelers. Logan Airport is open and all flights are running on schedule. Amtrak service and Boston area subway and commuter lines are running as scheduled.
