NECN: Movie projects could bring the Bay State $200M – March 08

The people who used to work at the Wittenden Mills in Taunton, Massachusetts had no clue their workplace would someday serve as the set for a movie flashback to the Holocaust death camps. Paramount Pictures is filming at the abandoned industrial site. Making it all come to life are 150 production workers, including set designers, prop builders and make-up artists, plus another 200 actors serving as extras. Such movie projects could bring the Bay State more than $200,000,000 in economic spending. NECN’s Mont Fennel has details in this video. March 15, 2008.
