This year’s theme “FUTURE FORWARD” is all about the biggest trends, changes, and movements happening in our rapidly accelerating industry with a look at what’s next! We’re putting together a truly special lineup of exhibitions, speakers, panels, interactive media, screenings, and more.

14th Annual Films at the Gate Festival, will take place this August 23rd thru August 25th. Presented by the Asian Community Development Corporation (ACDC), the Films at the Gate, celebrates Asian culture in Boston with screenings of iconic films created by Asian filmmakers.

Join us for a FREE workshop on June 23, 2019 from 4-6 pm for a discussion on THE BUSINESS OF ACTING.

The forum is designed for narrative and documentary filmmakers, producers, investors, and developers who are interested in learning the nuts and bolts of film financing from industry professionals who specialize in getting projects made.

The inaugural Taiwan Film Festival will be held on Memorial Day weekend, May 26th and 27th 2019, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
This year, the Festival will feature six poignant and critically acclaimed documentaries from Taiwan, plus in-person discussions with directors and producers, all under one roof in the heart of Kendall Square.

A daylong conference and exhibition attended by over 500 film and media industry members that include producers, filmmakers, craft professionals, creative agencies and production houses; and allied business and creative sectors including education and innovation communities.

Join the @BostonPublicLibrary and @WGBH for a conversation between BPL President David Leonard and filmmaker Frederick Wiseman, whose latest film “Ex Libris” is about the public library as a modern institution. On Monday, August 27 at 12:30 pm, Wiseman and Leonard will explore the role of the modern library and also Wiseman’s unique and celebrated approach to documentary filmmaking.
